World war II guns

World War II Airsoft guns are for those who are avidly interested in World War II infantry units and some of the spectacular ground battles that took place during the course of the war. Sellers of World War II guns have brought many of the best World War II small arms replicas that are available on the market. These guns are essentially for collectors. Some very rare finds can occasionally be made, as these guns tend to be out of production more often than not.

World War II and fashion

You might not realise it, but sunglasses are fashionable today mainly because of two things: World War II and Hollywood. Early movie stars took to wearing them because the lighting of early film studios was so harsh, and their eyes needed protecting between scenes, while in World War II many soldiers wore sunglasses to protect themselves from the flashes of explosions. When photos of these things started to reach a mass audience, they wanted to know where they could buy the sunglasses for themselves, and an instant fashion craze was born.

World war II and Marine Corp

It was within the two decades prior to World War II that the USMC began to prepare for amphibious battle, which they used with high degrees of success during the war. Notable points of battle include Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. After World War II, the USMC participated in post-war occupations of Japan and Northern China. Although the USMC took part in all of wars, and many smaller skirmishes, after World War II, they weren’t engaged in numbers similar to World War II until Operation Desert Storm.

Foo fIghters - World war II

Foo Fighters was the name used for numerous unexplained phenomena in World war II, as well as being used in a derogatory sense. Some pilots over Europe called them "Kraut balls". In the Pacific Theater, it was how some pilots referred to the Japanese fliers who were infamous for their erratic flying. Foo fighters is the name given by the scientists and historians to the general body of spherical, circular, disc-like, or wedged shaped "bogies", sometimes seeming to glow, shine, or reflect a high degree of illumination seen mostly by World War II pilots or flight crews.
