If your potential employer read your letter and it has many errors in it this is likely to cast some doubt on the job that you will do.
When proofreading read the document more than once
As a proofreader, when reading any document it is a good idea to read it more than once. The more you read over the document the less mistakes you are likely to make. Amongst proofreaders there industry norm for reading over a document is usually three times. Just read in a document one or even two times is sometimes not enough. The third time you read a document you are likely to find all the mistakes. It also up to you to remain alert are fully awake when reading any document.
