Chlamydia is common in people having sex between the ages of 18 and 25. The statistics show that between these ages there is a high probability that Chlamydia can be caught.

The advice to anybody having sex before they are married is to use a condom. Preferably don't have sex until you are married. Having sex with many people, can expose you to other sexually transmitted diseases, and can be very bad for your health. Having sex with people you have just met at a party, is bad practice and is not encouraged.

Chlamydia is usually transmitted through anal sex, free the vagina sometimes through oral sex, or even hand to eye contact, although this is not that common. Even though it is not common you should always wash your hands after using any washroom, especially if it is in a public place. And also if you have been shaking hands with strangers. Another possible thing to do is to carry sanitary wipes, if you are not going to be close to a bathroom.
