If your job involves working in the office for long periods of time, this can be a hard place to stay fit. Sitting down for more than eight hours, is not the best way to stay in shape. If you are in the office, eating foods which are not good for you, this is an added problem. The worst thing about working in an office is usually the terrible diet which comes with it. It is also common for, the closest food outlets to be fast food restaurants. While in office, it is in your best interest to always get up and take walks whenever possible. The number of things which you can do that will help keep you in good health.

You should say away from the break room

when you're at work you can avoid certain rooms, such as the break room. The reason for this is that, it will usually have a vending machine, stuffed with fattening and non-nutritious foods. If you are a person that find yourself drawn to foods such as crisps and chocolate's then you should definitely stay away from the break room. When you eat healthy, this is a major part of staying healthy, especially if you are working in the office.

Stretching your body

Sitting down in the office for more than an hour is not in your best interest. It is up to you to step up to keep your body active. There are a number of ways to loosen up your body. Sitting down for hours on end, is likely to give you muscle aches, especially in your back. You should use any free time available to you, to stretch out specific areas of your body. Stretching your arms legs and you're back are the best way to keep yourself healthy while working in office.
