The Postpartum Depression

There is no way to diagnose depression, except by self onserving your every day behaviour. There are people that suffer from depression but have no idea that it is depression. There are a few things that you should consider about your self if you want to diagnose your self from depression. you should also consider that there are different types of depression. It can be mild of more serious. Depression will usually effect your behaviour and physical capabilities.

Here are two basic things you should check, when determing if you might have depression.

The first is, have you experienced a loss of appetite or are you eating more than you used to.

The second is, have you lost interest in things that you used to do, to the extent that you no longer find pleasure in them any more.

This are just two, notable things to consider, there are more which can be diagnosed by a doctor.

Here are some things that you can do which may help to relieve sufferers of depression.

You could create diary or journal about all the things that are going on in your life. A big part of being depressed is being unable to remember the last time you were happy. A journal or diary is a great way to counter this problem, as it allows you to refer back to your happy times, which can help.

Eating a healthy diet can also help, usually the food of choice for a sufferer is sugary foods. This may come from places such as the fast food resturants. Staying away from this kind of food can give you more balanced energy, which will in turn allow you to feel better.
