Embroidered Tablecloth
An embroidered tablecloth is a cloth that people use to cover their tables. Usually they are made of cotton or an artificial fabric, but more expensive ones can be made of silk, linen or lace like a quaker lace tablecloth. Most embroidery tablecloths have been created to be cleaned easily. Their main purpose is to protect the table so it won't be stained or scratched, but they people can buy them just for decorative purposes.
A good Tablecloth
So, the question is… what makes a good tablecloth? Well let's start with what we want from a tablecloth. Ultimately we would like the tablecloth to be and look clean, crisp yet soft and luxurious to the touch. However, it must not only look and feel good, we would also like the tablecloth to be highly practical which means that it protects the table surface from scratches and any other kind of damage, it absorbs all the sauces and drips that come from a juicy feast. Therefore, a couple of considerations need to be made…
Tablecloths for christmas
choose the right tablecloth and napkins. Those elements of home accessories are very important while hosting formal dinner. The tablecloth should be of course clean and elegant.
But don't put your favourite and best you have. While having different kinds of dishes on the table and hosting many different people there is a big chance that some food might land on the table not on the plate. You will be all nervous and the holiday atmosphere will be ruined for you. If it comes to a pattern the tablecloth and napkins should probably have similar elements or colours as for example small stars, Christmas trees or Santas.
CONCLUSION
Your tablecloth choice will depend on your dinnerware. If you have patterned dinnerware, choose a plain tablecloth. If you have plain, single-colored dinnerware, you can choose a patterned tablecloth.
Be careful with choosing too much color. If you have brightly colored dinnerware, whether it is patterned or not, choose a more subtle and neutral color for your tablecloth.
