Smoothie recipe
Makes 1-2 smoothies, depending on serving size. In blender add 1 frozen, diced banana, about 1 ½ cups of frozen fruit, and about 3 cups liquid (half juice, half milk alternative). Blend on high, stopping as needed to push fruit down to be sure it is all getting blended. This may take a few minutes depending on the strength of your blender.

Then get a cup and enjoy! After a few smoothies, you will be able to customize your fruit to liquid ratio to your desired consistency. A note here from experience; if your blender is not working properly try adding a little more liquid and see if this alleviates the problem.
A good "starter smoothie:
1 frozen organic banana,
1 ½ cups organic apple juice,
1 ½ cups organic hemp milk,
4 chunks frozen pineapple,
¼ cup frozen organic strawberries,
handful frozen organic melon,
and handful frozen organic fruit of choice.
Smoothie benefits
It is time to make smoothies. Even children, who wouldn’t give a second glance to raw fruit, can usually be beguiled by a smoothie. It is also a special treat for adults, an easy thing to do for visitors who drop by, when it’s too hot for tea. Any ripe fruit can be used, even if it is slightly overripe, as long as it still smells good and not fermenting. You get a mega-dose of vitamins, plus calcium from the yoghurt and milk, almost a meal in itself. Healthy eating in a glass!
What is a smoothie? (if you don't know!)
A smoothie is basically a blended fruit drink. The best-tasting smoothies are made from fruit that is fresh or frozen, and not canned. All smoothies begin with a liquid base. This can be orange juice, milk or another liquid. You can make a frostier drink by freezing fresh fruit before making a smoothie. Smoothies are best when they're fresh out of the blender, but they can be frozen the night before, as well - just remove the smoothie from the freezer about an hour before drinking.
Healthy smoothies healthy living
As far as healthy living and what not is concerned, blended smoothies are great for a concentrated meal that’s ready in a minute. You can combine a variety of fruit with some water, possibly add some dates or genuine maple syrup and make a delicious smoothie that can be enjoyed anytime as a healthy meal while on your weight loss program.
CONCLUSION
There really is no such thing as storing a juice or smoothie – you can’t beat drinking them the moment you’ve made them. However, you may like to take them out to work or on a picnic. In that case, the best way to store them is to put a teaspoon of vitamin C powder or a squeeze pf lemon juice in the bottom of the jug attached to the juicer.
