I don't know about you but at the end of the day there is almost nothing better than to prop your feet up and watch a little TV or read a good book with your feet kept warm and comfortable in a pair of slippers. This is one type of footwear that will never go out of style and not only do they help keep you feet comfortable but slippers do much more. In addition to keeping your feet warm slippers also help keep them clean and protect them from unseen sharp objects such as carpet tacks or staples.

Sock slippers have really gained a lot of popularity lately. These comfortable slippers are really a thick sock with rubber treads on them that guard against slipping. One of the great things about these is that they are easily washed in the washing machine, although you may want to avoid throwing them in the dryer if you want the rubber treads to last as long as possible. These are the same type that are issued to you if you ever have to go to the hospital these days.
