Proofreading is a job that, a lot of people want to do. If you are the type of person that likes to read, but it might be a job for you. There are various types of proofreading jobs available. Generally, a job in this area requires more than just correcting errors in a document, you also have to read through information and make sure it makes sense. Sometimes you are likely to come across words in documents that are deliberately spelt wrong. It's up to you to know when this is.

When applying for a proofreading job, it is in your best interest to write a letter that has no mistakes in it and makes proper sense. When proofreading any document, it is good practice to read over the document. This will ensure that any mistakes are limited. The recommended amount of times to read of a document is usually three. Reading of a government once or twice is not with enough but the third time, you are likely to find all the mistakes. You should also ensure that your alert and awake when reading through documents this will help.
