Black pearl necklaces

Black pearl necklaces often come from the South Seas, most of which from Tahiti. Famous to be expensive because of their demand in the pearl-making industry, South Sea black pearl necklaces are also known for their size which is larger than the usual pearl. Tahitian black pearls ranges from 8 mm to 18 mm. The ironic thing is that of all the South Sea black pearls out there, the Tahitian black pearl is the cheapest – but the most popular.

If buying a black pearl necklace, it is important that you know what you exactly you are looking for. You must know the value of the necklace you’re fancying as well as whether you could still stretch your buck and allow you to get the best possible Tahitian black pearl necklace for you.

Lariat necklace

Unlike a typical necklace, a Lariat necklace does not have a clasp; rather, it is characterized by one long strand that can be tied or wrapped in a number of ways to create a variety of looks. Heres a tips on how to wear a Lariat necklace.

Layered Strand: Since most Lariat necklaces are long, you can almost always wrap them around twice, regardless of which tie you settle on. Place the center of the strand at your throat, cross the loose ends behind your neck and bring them back to your chest. Then tie the loose ends in one of the fashions below.

Popular necklaces size

Start by looking at what length you want. The most popular length is the 18 inched. But some women like shorter lengths (the 16th inch is still popular) and will even pair a shorter length necklace with a longer one. If you are stuck wondering what length you should buy, you could buy a necklace that has an extension chain. These extension chains allow the woman to set the length according to her own taste and she can change that length each time she wears it, if she wishes.

Beads and Necklace

For example, what I mean by this is that beads such as haematite (it’s actually an iron ore) are arrogant, while pearls are snobs. What do I mean by this? Haematite (in my opinion) do not like to share the limelight with other beads. They have a tendency to drown out other beads because of their color and the way they shine. When I make a necklace using haematite, rather than combine it with other beads, I would rather use haematite in different sizes and/or shapes to make the necklace because they just refuse to cooperate with other beads. Pearls on the other hand, have their own issues.

CONCLUSION

Making your own pendant necklace is not a very difficult task but the majority of people prefer purchasing them from stores. With a little creativeness you can make almost any miniature a lovely pendant necklace. Sometimes you might need to solder or bend the material, knowing something about shaping wire might also be helpful but most of the times you wouldn't need to do that in order to make a pendant necklace.
