The founder of NASCAR was Account France who was a part of NSCRA, which is the abbreviation of Nationalistic Stock Car Racing Association, met with 35 different leaders of all racing associations on December 14, 1947. They definite on the importance of beginning out with the American nationalist automobile sport.
The leaders sat for about four days and classified out all the rules and named the sport NASCAR, which means Nationalistic Association for Stock Car Automatic Racing. The association was finally created on February 21, 1948. This all started with the need for improving new cars after the 2nd World War. The industries, which were producing the weapons, then started producing the cars and new designs were being made.
Among the first of the races, the cars used were the change of the cars before the war phase and then there was intro of adjustment fit for races. The championship consisted of about 52 races and the 1st victor of the race was Red Byron. In that race, Red Byron won a prize of about $1250.
Then there was another direction being put frontwards by Bill France that the cars would not stomach any modifications, which just lifted a lot of questions among the car race group. Then after that Glenn Dunnaway won the race with his car, Ford, which was stated illegal because it was found that he had made some modifications to his car.
As time went by, NASCAR racing got tall acceptance and the cars underwent a lot of modifications. NASCAR racing is now one of the most admired sport, not only in the United States but aswell a lot of other countries. There are much countries that have recognised car racing now and have started car racing as an authorized sport with a lot of groups participating in it. NASCAR racing has really brought a lot of awareness among groups about the car brandings and has turned out to be a billion dollar industry.
