Affiliate marketing and dropshipping
Dropshipping and affiliate marketing both offer web entrepreneurs a level of ease and convenience that shipping your own items will never have. But, there are some fundamental differences that make some people prefer dropshipping and others affiliate marketing.
Some prefer affiliate marketing because the responsibility for the sale is mainly on the shoulders of the company selling the item.
Some people prefer dropshipping because money can be made faster. Because the dropshipper doesn't have to wait for a commission check, the profit is immediate.
Marketing relations
very marketer, I'm sure, would want to build beneficial and long-lasting relationships with his or her customers. In so doing, customers will then be more attentive, engaged and loyal to their marketers reciprocally. Customer retention will positively affect your credibility in the long run. Who wouldn't wish for such scenario especially when the ultimate results will most probably be higher sales and profits, coupled with the possibility of increasing your customer database?
Affiliate marketing
In affiliate marketing, you promote (try to sell) someone or a company's product. This could be anything like books, information products, insurance services -- you name it and there is probably an affiliate marketing program for it. If they buy based on your promotion, you get paid a commission.
Targeted marketing
The definition of targeted marketing in its simplest form is marketing a specific product toward a target customer. This could be based on age, location, gender, etc. Targeted marketing has changed the way businesses find customers. In today's business world, a savvy marketer will know that to find the best possible customers depends on well thought out targeted marketing strategies.
CONCLUSION
Lets Round up with a quote to remember what marketing is -
If the circus is coming to town and you paint a sign saying, "Circus is coming to Fairgrounds Sunday," that's Advertising. If you put the sign on the back of an elephant and walk him through town, that's a Promotion. If the elephant walks through the Mayor's flower bed, that's Publicity. If you can get the Mayor to laugh about it, that's Public Relations. And, if you planned the whole thing, that's Marketing! --Author Unknown
