Taking Online Storage of Files to another Level

Do you like the idea of keeping your files online?

Let’s be honest with ourselves, storing our data online is not a recent phenomenon. This idea of storing your data online goes way back to the days of LANs, when computer experts developed methods of storing and sharing information across many computers. The computers back then were very primitive, especially when you compare them to the systems that we use now. Despite all that, the idea of being able to store your data in an alternative location online comes off as an excellent initiative for most people.

There are a number of places on the internet where you have store your information, such as torrent sites, directories, email inbox, photo-sharing sites and many other applications online which are all brought together to enhance our experience online. With all the information that people now have access to on the internet today, there is little doubt in my mind that one cannot find a solution to whatever problem that you may have by simply conducting a quick browse.

However these online applications have a number of limitations when it comes to their ability to store information. For example, email services such as Yahoo and Gmail are more than capable of storing all your personal files, yet they prohibit you from storing executable files or files that exceed 10MB. While these torrent sites may be open to the general populace for you to store your files, these sites tend to be heavily strained due to the seeders, which are those people who have the completed file on their system and are allowing others to access this file through their system. In addition to that, these torrent sites may not be able to offer the kind of secure and quality touch that you’ll get form an online storage website. Movie and photo sharing websites are very promising, however they are limited to movies and photos, and so may not be what people are looking for when it comes to online storage of files.
