Formula 1 news
Dennis has finally come clean, or at least, Martin Whitmarsh signed the letter of apology from McLaren that has hopefully brought the curtain down on the farce of the Stepneygate saga. President of the FIA, Max Mosley, seems to have been persuaded by the public humiliation of the British team and has now asked for the meeting scheduled by the World Motor Sport Council for February 14th next year to be canceled.
If the meeting had gone ahead as scheduled McLaren might have fallen foul of the orders laid down by the Council, warning against any Ferrari/disputed technology being found on the plans for next year's Silver Arrows. It would seem that Max Mosley is giving up his so-called witch hunt for Valentine's Day. How romantic!
Formula 1 Experience
Whether you enjoy watching Formula 1 racing or not, there is so much you can learn about life, goal achieving and what it takes to be a winner just from watching the sport. Someone once described life as a series of failures punctuated by successes. Many individuals become discouraged by setbacks rather than seeing them as learning experiences. Some are so discouraged, they vow they will never try that experience again whereas the attitude of a Formula 1 racer is "let me get back in the cockpit".
A Great Formula 1 driver
Its hard to decide who was the F1 greatest drivers because the era of their dominance doesn't coincide with all the other F1 greats. However we can say that F1 greats have to prove themselves to earn that title. Whether getting the most win of his career, poles, wet weather prowes or just transcending the limits of your car. These are the traits and characteristic that F1 greats should possess. So who is a great? Well this driver is:
Michael Schumacher: He owns all the records in the book and by far the favourite of the new generation of formula one drivers. His F1 career started with Jordan team which was a backmarker. Nevertheless he quickly moved to Benneton and started to rack up some podium finishes and victories.
CONCLUSION
The Grand Prix Formula 1 race at Fuji Speedway, Japan, the first in 30 years, was a lesson in mastery and a thrilling race that will probably be talked about and analysed by fans for years to come. It was particularly sweet for Lewis Hamilton (McLaren) who, with his win, opened up a 12 point lead over his nearest rival and team mate Fernando Alonso.
