Filling out applications and handing out your resume's can be a gruelling task. If you are fortunate you will impress a potential employer with minimal effort. But in most cases you are probably going to have to give out a lot of resume's and fill out a lot of applications.
It is always a great feeling when you do actually get an interview, especially if it is with a company that you really want to work for. You should be aware though that this is the first stage. It is up to you to impress the interviewer, this can be done in a number of ways. Here are some things that you can do to imnprove your chancers of getting the job with your potential new employer.
You should always be assertive at your interview, the employer wil need to sense your enthusiasm and determination to get the job. Even if you have 10 other interviews lined up it is always to to present your self as entrhusiastic and eager to get employed. There is nothing to lose if you get a job offer, it is always better to turn down an offer than to not recieve on in the firsdt place.
You should turn up at your interview prepared, bring extra copies of you resume and business cards, may come in use. Having a folder with all the the douments you need in it will make you stand out from the rest of the people being interviewed. If the interviewer has asked you to bring in more documents they will definitely remmeber you if you were able to produce them with minimum fuss.
An interview can be tricky business, it is always good to come prepared. You only get one chance to impress your employer, so why not make the most of it? Good luck at your jobe interview.
