The Best Domain Registrars
Getting domain names means going to a registrar. They are the place that stores a database of available names to choose. When you have one you want to buy you can go to them and see if it is available. Once you have registered the domain name with your details it’s yours.
Here are some well know registrars:
Register.com, godaddy.com, networksolustions.com and yahoo.com
Some brief information about these registrars:

Yahoo.com
Yahoos pricing for domains has fluctuated, now they will charge their customers as much as 15 dollars a year to register a domain with them. You will need to have a yahoo email to get one.
Register.com
This registrar by far charge the most, a whopping 34 dollars a year is what they were charging. You do get an easy to use interface, but you have to judge them.
NetworkSolutions.com
This is a website they were one of the pioneers in registering domains. They don't seem to have moved forward much and, people who do use them complain of bad customer services regularly.
Other domain registrars you can look at are namecheap.com, and cheapnames.com.
