You never know when you might be required to undertake emergency E)~Y. The key to a fast and efficient solution is to purchase a small number of essential items. and to stone these in logical locations around the home. We recommend the following preparations:
1. Always keep small tools and spares, such as a bleed key for radiators, electrical test screwdriver. fuse wire ahd pliers. in a small kitchen drawer. This will save time finding your too: for small jobs and prevent panic when a fuse blows. eon't forget to return them to the drawer after use though ~
2. Buy a small (9~x12") sectioned storage box and purchase a selection oi fuses (3 amp, 5 amp, 13 amp), dour and single hooks, curtain Brooks and a roll oi insulation tape. These are some of the most common items used in every house. Place these items in a kitchen drawer, as above.
3. Keep a torch by the fuse board with a packet of spare batteries. 1f the lights go out you will always have to go to the fuse board, so you'll know where to find the torch.
