Deity story

Among the many deity, deity-like and mythical figures of ancient Greece, males were not the only ones that were revered and seen as important. Often, deities were worshiped even more furiously, because their powers were seen to gift followers with much needed power and talents. One of the most highly regarded and famous of these was Athena, the Greek deity of wisdom, war, weaving and crafts.

Athena's father was Zeus, the king of all the deities, and it is said that she sprang fully formed and completely armed from his forehead. Her mother was said to be Metis, the deity of wisdom and cunning, whom Zeus slept with and then regretted it, fearing that a child begotten of Metis would grow to be more powerful than he was.

Hera - Greek Deity

While many of the most important deities throughout history have been male, a select few females have risen to the highest levels of religion. In ancient Egypt, Isis and Set were worshiped by many followers, and seen as being even more integral to their lives than certain male figures. This was also true in ancient Greece. Some of the most important deities in this pantheon were goddesses, and Hera, wife of Zeus, was one of them.

Hera was both the older sister and wife of the most important deity in Greek times, Zeus. She was often pictured as being wise and solemn with a large crown known as polos. In some cases, Hera was also seen holding a pomegranate, used as a symbol of blood – representing both fertility and death. Her cult cities – the places she was most often worshiped in – were Argos and Mycenae. Hera's Roman counterpart was known as Juno.

Apollo deity

Apollo – the Greek deity – was seen differently in later times, and as Roman deity of the same name. The Classical version of Apollo was the deity of the sun, taking the place of Helios. Apollo was also a patron of Delphi, which made him an oracle and able to tell the future and speak to mortals. He also became the deity that oversaw colonists, and was the patron defender of herds and flocks. Apollo's many different aspects were worshiped alternately in different areas of Greece.

CONCLUSION

But you are capable of growing trees like it in your little garden when you are sealed. You are capable of growing trees whose fruit gives men the kind of knowledge that once was reserved only for God Himself. It is the Judgment of God. What He thinks about the world. What He considers good and what He considers evil. When you know the Judgment of God you can practice some prophecy, because you know what God has decided about a matter.
