Computers have been invented, for entertainment, and now they can even be used to work from. But, it is also good for you to understand a little bit about the problems that may be encountered, such as malware attacks.

Having some basic knowledge, about malware, is good knowledge. Malware will basically attaches to your computer without you knowing. The purpose of malware as the name suggests is to cause some harm to your computer system.

Malware is a general term for different types of malicious software, such as viruses, Trojan horses, and spyware. Viruses and worms are the most talked about viruses infecting computers today. They may cause you to lose your data, and damage your computer permanently.

Where creators make their software in order to adversely affect your computer; computers are often infected with malware programs when surfing the Internet.

Reducing your malware potential threat:

Always ensure, when you are opening an e-mail message or an attachment from somebody sending an instant message that you are sure.

Scan all documents that you are going to download to your computer before they are open.

If you don't want a message, you should avoid reading it

If you receive a link, which comes from somebody that you are not familiar with, of where clicking on it.

And any conversation, that you are having with somebody by instant message who is potentially sending you corrupted files.

When you buy any anti-spyware, or antivirus program make sure that it is updated to the fullest.
