If you are at working in a customer oriented business, you should know that the customer is always right. The key to any successful busines is to concentrate on the people that make your business a successs. If the customer is not happy that means your business wont be happy. The customer has the ability to fire the whole business, if they decide that you are not providing them with the service that they need. The real definition of customer service is to give the customer what they want, there is a misconception, they often makes people thing customer service is about smiling at the customer. Although it is good to be courteous, customer service has more to do providing a service that people want.

The best way to know what the customer really wants is to ask them. Asking the customer what they want will keep you up to date with their needs and allow you to provide them with what they want. In businesses that are not based on the impulse buying model, you maye have to use different methods to sell to them, such as the councilling or lecturing techniques, which require you to give them a sdample of the product and an explanation.
Customer discussion
You can also increase sales in you business by creating a group which your customer attend. You can find about 10 to 20 of your best customers and get them to meet together. Once they are alll to gether you can ask them to give you their feedback on your service and ask them for any suggestions and ideas that they might have.
Improving customer services is synomonous with improving customer sales. A good budiness will always ethically seek to genuinely improve the buying experience of there clients.
