Criminal Defense Attorneys or District Attorneys

Have you ever looked at the current poor state the court system is in right now? Have you ever thought about the fact that there appears to be many criminals that are above the law, yet we are all supposed to just support it? Consider this scenario, who is worth, district or criminal defense attorneys?

For example, if a criminal lawyer new for a fact that his client was no innocent of the crime, then he or she would be helping this individual get off free for a crime that the person did commit. If for example a district attorney is now negotiating a plea deal in a case that he or she knows that the defendant is innocent in or later discovers that the defendant is innocent in, yet continues to negotiate the deal, then that attorney is guilty of a crime, by violating the trust of the public. Why do you think they do it?

Well, the district attorneys motives for doing what he or she does is for the conviction numbers, which will put the attorney in a better position to vie for a higher office position later on in life. The criminal lawyer on the other hand will do it solely for the money. So who can we say is worse, especially when we consider the fact that both parties are manipulating the system, one of them is supposedly serving the people while the other serves a guilty client? Yet, why doesn’t anyone do anything about this situation?

I think time needs to be taken to look over the criminal justice system in order to prevent this kind of manipulation from occurring so frequently.
