If you are having sex with somebody that you know may have Chlamydia, it is very possible that you will also get it. Chlamydia is a sexually transmitted disease, it is most popular in people ages 18 to 25. Statistics there have been done show that during this time there is a high probability of getting Chlamydia.
The best advice for anybody taking part in any sexual activity before they are married is to use a condom, preferably it is even better not to have sex at all, until you are married. If you do know that the person that you are having sex with, has Chlamydia, the best course of action is to refrain from having sex with them. You should not have any sexual relations with a person, that has Chlamydia until you are certain it has been treated and they are cured.
The best prevention of Chlamydia is to not have sex at all, but if you do you should not have more than one partner. Having multiple partners is a sure way to contract this disease. Having a long term relationship with a person limits your chances of contracting this disease. You should, definitely not have sex with anybody that you don't know. That means that one that stands out of the question.
There are a number of ways that Chlamydia can be transmitted, these may include anal sex, through the vagina, through oral sex and in some cases even from hand to eye contact, although this doesn't happen very often. A good deterrent for this disease is to always wash your hands, after using a public bathroom especially.
