The most responsible way to prevent yourself from getting any sexually transmitted disease, is to only have sex when you find a meaningful partner. It is in your best interest to always have relationships that are with people that you actually know. If you have sexual relations with many partners, the chances of you getting any sexually transmitted disease increases dramatically. Having multiple partners, will mean that you don't just have to worry about Chlamydia, but the many other sexually transmitted diseases that are out there. This sexually liberal lifestyle is bad for your health.
How Chlamydia is transmitted
Usually Chlamydia is transmitted through the vagina, anal sex or oral sex. They have even been cases where hand to eye contact is caused Chlamydia.
To avoid any type of sexually transmitted diseases, you have to be very careful and always have relations with people that you trust and know.
