It is important to get the right domain name. A good domain choice gives a good impression to the visitors that visit. The search engines can also rank you in accordance to the name of your website. You will find some good domain suggestions here.

Some times when you are looking for a domain the one that you want is already taken, here are some ways you may be able to get around this:

You can add the word site to the end of the domain name that you choose if you find that it is taken. For instance for a www.dogs.com, you could go for www.dogssite.com instead. You may also want to use the word online in some cases too.

Another way to get the domain name that you want is to add an S to the end of the name to make it plural if it has already been taken. So, if the site name was "dietplan", you could make it "dietplans" instead.

Using the word hub in your domain name can give the name an impression of importance, telling people this is where they can find everything. For example "thedogtraininghub" of "teethwhiteninghub", can be good names.

Other words you can use as additions are, reviews, news, and you can even go for a personal name such as "mikesreviews" or something similar.

As you can see there is always a way to pick out a domain name that you want, but you may have to improvise, if you want to choose a domain name that is pretty popular or already taken.
