It is never the intention of anyone to catch a cold, when you do get one it is something that wish you could have avoided. Fortnately there is a way of limiting your chances of getting a cold, and you can implement them immediately. As with all things there is no 100 percent full proof remedy for avoiding a cold, but doing the things are known to limit it can be just as good.

Here are some things that will help you to reduce the possibility of you getting a cold.

A good diet

Healthy eating as always is always beneficial for the body. If you eat healthy you are more likely to avoid a cold. Eating the right food will give you a strong immune system. A god source of nutrient for a strong healthy immune system is protein, this is mostly found in beans. You should also think about eating as much as 5 portions of fruit and vegetables. You should stay clear of foods that are refined.

Sleeping the right way

Have a good amount of sleep is a great way to recharge your body and give it the necessary strength to fight off any viruses that might try to rear their ugly head. In order to get a good nights sleep you should avoid eating to late, and avoid drinking any coffee or caffeiene filled drinks before you go to bed.

These tips will help you combat any cold that may be on the horizon, be sure to try them out, you maybe pleasantly surprised at the results. Staying clear of dirty environments are also a good way to prevent your self from catching cold.
