Bunk Beds With Stairs
A bunk bed is a bed where one you have one bed frame positioned directly above another. The idea behind the bunk bed, allows for two people to sleep in the same bed room maximizing all available room space. Because of this, it leads to them being used primarily in places with limited floor space, such as army garrisons, ships or in other places where maximising bed space is cost effective, such as: summer camp cabins, hostels, dormitories, prison cells, children’s rooms and university residence halls.
A bunk bed is typically supported by four pillars or poles, which are situated at each corner of the bed(s). In order to get to the top bunk, a ladder is supplied, although taller children often utilise more creative and unconventional methods of getting into them. The top bunk is surrounded by a rail that prevents the person sleeping in it from accidentally falling out; some models also come with curtains for the lower bunk. Because of the use of a ladder and the height of bunk beds, usage of the top bunk is typically not recommended for children under the age of six.
