Breeding golden retrievers
Most Golden Retriever puppies will get their food from their mother until developing to the age of seven weeks. When the puppy has lived 21 days, they should be fed with puppy food, which requires you to soak and mix into a warm grubby compound.
After the food is mixed it will resemble the food they get from their mummy, and they will learn quickly how their food tastes and how they should eat it.When the puppy comes home, you should be sure to use the same food that he has become accustomed to. Golden retriever pups are usually trained first with food by breeders, and it’s up to you to make it so that he gets the food he has come to know.
It's know by dog breeders that golden retriever puppies has sensitive stomachs, and they can be very sensitive to any changes in their food.
When you first bring your new Golden Retriever puppy to your home, he or she may not be too interested in eating for the first few days. Being in a new home can be testing for the puppy, which is why you need not force him to eat. The puppy will also realize that he doesn’t have competitionat the dog food bowl, because he is away from his litter.
Don't be worried the Golden Retriever will eat
Don't panic if he has no appetite straight away, as it will take him some time.Once your puppy has slept through the night, you should take him outdoors and let him relieve himself, then take him in for dog food. You should also plan food through the day, such as the morning, middle of the day, then at evening. Once you have set up feedings, you should make sure that you don't alter the plan so that your puppy will get familiar to it.
Remember that the evening feed doesn't always have to take place. You should always look to feed your puppy at least a half an hour before you head to bed, so that you are able to take him outside after eating.
After you have planned your feeding right, you can feed your Golden, take him out to use the bathroom, and still have adequate amount of time to get ready for snoozing. At night, when you sleep, you should have puppy pads or newspapers in anarea that your Golden retriever is familiar with so he can use the toilet if he really cannot get you to take him out.
Food is coming for the Golden Retriever
first few weeks, your Golden will eat a little bit of the food. In the the Golden retrievers eight week, he should be on dry food which you should add a small bit of warm water to. The best way to feed is to repeatedly adding a little bit of warm water to the food, and let the golden retriever puppy eat until he is finished.
If you continually feed according to you plans, your golden retriever can now begin to eat as normal.Keep in mind that you shouldn't push the golden retriever, or change anything about the way his diet is going. Golden Retrievers will eat their share, although it will take them a bit of time to become used to eating, with the proper eating habits. As the puppy gets older, his belly will grow and he will begin to eat more.
When the Golden retriever has grown there will be no need to add water to food. Golden Retrievers are a without a doubt unique breed, a breed that wont pass up a good meal - and craves attention. If you stick to your plan when your puppy is little - he will be a healthy eater as he gets older.
