Bitten By Snake

Snakes are often a scary creature to a lot of people. The Reason for the fear of snakes usually comes for the notion that they are all poisonus. Fortunatley not all snakes are poisonous. althought it is true that are lots of people that get bitten by snakes ever year 2.5. milllioan infact. Of all the people people that are biten, about 125,000 die. The reason for there death is the inability to get antivenom to them in time. So if you ever get bitten it would be nice to know what to do, so that the effect of the venom will be reduced and what not to do also.

Developed world and snake bites

In the developed world you will be hard found to see anbody dying from a snake bite. One of the reasons for this is that in the develope world there is usually antivenom medicine that is available if a person does get bitten. This is not the same in countries that are underdeveloped. In the underveloped world usually it is too exepensive to have antivenom on hand because it is just too expensive. The country where most deaths occur from snake bites is India, there the have more deaths by snake bite that any othere country.

Few tips for if you are bitten

So you have been bitten? There are some things that you will have to do. The first thing to do is to get away from the snake that bite you obviously. There's only one thing that is worse than being bitten and thet is being bitten two times. Once you have got away from the snake, yo will have to seek medical assistance. Before going on any holiday in a country such as Indi where snakes can be found you should always know where you would have to go if you ever got bitten.

Getting bitten by a snake is not the best experience, unfortunately if you dont have the antivenom at hand the chance are you will not make it. When you go into any unfamiliar territory be sure to find out the safety procedures if sure an incident was to occur, if there is not procedure you would be well advised to not travel out to where a snake maybe.
