Betta Fish Not Swimming

Choosing a fish for your home can be a difficult decision, especially if you don't know which ones are good. here is a fish which is extremely popular, it is called the Siamese fighting fish or Betta fish.

It appeals to most people because of its bright colours and its active movement and lifestyle. Fortunately it is also, a good fish to take care of as it does not require tons of maintenance. This makes it great for people that don't have lots of time to take of their fish.

You will need to consider the following things once you get your fish home -

It is up to you to observe the patterns and how your fish behaves, this will allow you to spot any irregularities, that may occur. This may be things such as your fish not feeling well, or the bowl that your fish is in being dirty.

You will need to make sure that you buy a bowl that has enough space in it, this will ensure that your fish does not bump into things and cause any injury to itself, such as a teared fin or scale.

Remember that the Betta fish is at its best when swimming in clean water. It does not require a filtration system, but it is in your best interest to change up to a third of the water every three days. This will allow the water to stay clean and fresh and prevent any bacteria or fungal infections to your fish.
