Being Healthy and Fit
Working in an office is not the best way to stay healthy and in shape. There are many bad habits which can be picked up in an office environment, one of the main are habits is a bad diet. Eating poorly is the quickest way to ruin your health. There are also rooms which can encourage unhealthy eating such as the restroom. In the restroom you are likely to find a vending machine, with a whole range of foods that are not good for you and have excessive amounts of fat and calories. Unfortunately most jobs in the office are best done sitting down, which is not the greatest, if you want to keep in shape.
There are some things that you can do to keep yourself healthy in office.
Choosing good food to eat
What you eat is very important, as it will determine your health and help keep your concentration levels at their highest. Instead of eating foods which come straight out of the vending machine such as crisps and chocolate, you can use an alternative such as nuts. There are a number of nuts which are very good healthy fat sources, such as pistachio, walnuts and almond nuts. The best thing about these nuts is that they will provide you with good healthy fat. Nuts are also good because they can be stored in your office draw very easily.
Using the stairs instead of the elevator
Today there are a lot of offices that have elevators, this is because many of them have a lot of stairs and floors. If you want to keep fit, travelling by elevator is not the best way to do this. If you happen to work on a floor which is very high up then you can walk up the stairs, maybe half the way and then take the elevator the rest of the way.
