Beer Games

Most beer games are designed to get the players as loopy as possible. I’ve listed a few here that at least require a modicum of skill and not as much chug-a-lugging. I’ll say it again: Be responsible and don’t torture yourself and others around you by drinking too much. Most beer games are takeoffs of basic non-beer games. Beer Ping-Pong, Beer Piano, Beer Cheers or “Hi Bob!’, Beer Hunter.

German beer

When you think of Germany there are a number of things that come to mind, but one of the first things is German beer. Although many people presume that a majority of German beer is lager, there are a number of different styles, tastes and stories behind the various beer distributed across the world.

In order to produce the wide array of German beers, there are a number of people that work to create the unforgettable taste that you get from a smoked beer or warm-fermented ale. Germany has one of the world’s higher per-capita consumption rates of beer at around 120 liters. German breweries employ 65,000+ workers to help make and bottle the large amount of beer produced and delivered around the world.

Underage beer drinking

Underage beer drinking is certainly no secret and to try to sweep it under the carpet isn't going to make it go away. But the most odd thing about underage drinking when it comes to beer is that even after kids sneak their first beer, they still want to have another one.

If you're wondering why that sounds so strange then you need to think back to when YOU had your first beer. It was pretty nasty tasting. Let's be honest, beer is bitter and is an acquired taste. Very few people, if any at all, enjoyed their first beer. Many even get sick after it because of the taste or the fact that they're not used to the alcohol yet.

Alcohol-free beer

They state alcohol-free beer is alcohol free. This sentence sounds as strange as the following: alcohol-free beer is not really alcohol free. To call beer with a highly reduced percentage of alcohol "alcohol-free" is pretty misleading. Let's make it clear: alcohol-free beer has an alcohol concentration of 0.05%. This is certainly not enough to make us drunk (juices contain the same amount of alcohol) and makes the so-called alcohol-free beer safe for pregnant women and drivers.

CONCLUSION

If you check out some things about beer in general, you'll find that there is more to beer than just who makes it, how it tastes and how much it costs. Sure, if you're just interested in popping open a cold brew and sitting yourself down in front of the TV, you probably only care about those 3 things and most likely just number two. But you'd be surprised how much you can learn about beer from magazines, books and the Internet.
