Beef Burger introduction
Burgers can be part of a nutritious, healthy, balanced diet, especially when made using quality ingredients. Low fat beef mince can ensure a highly succulent, tender and tasty
burger. And when it’s low in salt and made with innovative ingredients, it can be irresistibly delicious and make a hearty meal for adults and a fun meal for kids.
Americas Organic Beef burger OBE Organic
The commercial production of certified Organic Beef Burgers for the lucrative American Market has become a reality. Our organic beef burger, proudly produced in Australia and exported to the United States of America, is now being enjoyed by American consumers.
OBE demonstrated early on, a niche market for our product on supermarket shelves.
We collaborated closely with our processor to create a burger in size and shape that suited this market. Taste tests confirmed that our organic burger excelled in flavour and
we confidently presented our product to the US market. We are proud to provide a healthy, wholesome, organic alternative to America’s burger consuming population.
UK Beef burger regulators
Consumers don’t seem to need much encouragement to dine al fresco once the good weather arrives, but the English Beef and Lamb Executive (EBLEX) is keen to help butchers boost their sales of beef mince this summer by inspiring consumers to get creative and make their own flavoured beef burgers. EBLEX is producing two special
promotional kits which will be made available to independent retailers.
May. The first is for those butchers who are not members of the EBLEX Quality
Standard scheme, but who have registered to continue to receive EBLEX promotional material, and will feature a whole host of material including recipe booklets and posters.
The second kit, which will only be made available to those butchers who are members of the EBLEX Quality Standard scheme, is based around a range of delicious beef and lamb recipes, some of which are great for the barbecue, but others which are ideal for healthy, lighter meals such as salads and cold pastas.
CONCLUSION
Buffalo meat has, over the past 5-10 years, become well known as a healthy alternative to beef. Media mogul Ted Turner has even opened a restaurant, Ted's Montana Grill, based on this premise. Cuts of buffalo meat are now available at many grocery stores, with more likely to follow. The big question is, does buffalo meat really merit this standing? Or has marketing hype once again trumped solid information and common sense?
