You can choose from three types of teething toys, which are soft toys, frozen toys and solid toys. When the teeth first start to grow soft toys are good, to ease soreness.

Chilled or frozen toys are usually placed inside the freezer and chilled containing water. They are helpful for soothing your baby’s gums.

Using solid toys which are made out of plastic, rubber or wood, are mainly for the teeth of babies that have grown through the gums already.

Before buying any toy you need to check it out properly. Some toys are made in places where there is no accounting for the safety of your child. This may result in the toys containing harmful toxic chemicals in them.

You are best advised to buy a teeth toy that is organically made. Natural materials such as wood, cotton, rubber and wool are what you should be looking for.
