The audio engineering profession is an industry that has quite alot of competition it is a much sought after job within this industry. When getting started it is very possible that you will not have a clue what to do. The worst thing you can do is to try to enter this profession with out any type of strategy. Remember you will be in competition with a load of other people so you will need to be on top of your game, if you want to get ahead of the pack.

There are different things that you will have to be aware of the most this things will help put you on track and give you the right mind set when looking for working as an audio engineer.

A very important thing to remember is that when you finally find a studio to work in you will be watched all the time. It is you job to constantly be looking for things to do in the studio. You should never sit aroun doing nothing. You should also never go to the studio and talk badly about any other person work. You should treat the studio the same way you would a luxury hotel, if you workesd there, and remember that some one is always watching you.

It is always a good idea to help out when ever possible in the studio. If you are working along side and experienced audio engineer and you have a client that is very demanding, your willingness to help out will be duly noted by the head engineer. You should always be ready and anticipate any needs that the client may want. Working as an assistant engineer will be long lived if you stay alert at all times.

If you thought that you woulo just enter the studio and become an instant hit you are sorely mistaken, the best way get ahead is always to be helpful, and willing to learn at all times.
