Tips for joining the army

The first step is to begin a physical training program. Life will be much less painful if you are already in some sort of condition. An exercise program that works the whole body is best, and it is probably best to emphasize endurance over raw strength. The simplest method is to practice push-ups, sit-ups, run for two to five miles and perhaps practice some marches while carrying about a third of your body weight.

Prepare mentally for the army

You will be expected to learn a great deal. Some of this will be job specific, and very difficult to research if you can’t talk to a veteran, or the person teaching you, there are also other things you will be expected to know which you can find beforehand, and knowing such information will be of potential value as it will allow you to study on other information when you hav time to.

Question to ask you self before joining the army

Before you join the military, ask yourself if you are willing to give your life for your Soldiers (or Marines) and your country. If you can say yes to that question, then you are ready to join. Many do not consider that question, and then are surprised at the risks they are required to take in time of war. Although, the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq will change and eventually end, enemies of individual freedom continue to exist all over the world.

Stages for becoming an army marine

If you choose to be a Marine, you will need to take Navy ROTC, and apply for entry into the Marine Corps. After you graduate and are commissioned as a Marine second lieutenant, you will take Marine basic infantry training. All Marines must take basic infantry training before they are qualified to take any other Marine specialty training. You will not be given your desired specialty until you prove yourself in your initial training.

CONCLUSION

There is really no reason to send someone that is unfit into a combat zone and think that he will be fine where he is. You have to think about all the others that are in that platoon. If the person is unfit and he got hurt there is really no way that platoon will be able to bring him to safety if they have to stop a lot just to let him drink.
