Aerobics introduction
The fact is that even if you are into isometrics, isotonics or anaerobics, you still need to do aerobics for overall health and fitness. That is the reason why even body builders with their sculpted biceps and sharply-defined waists are advised to add aerobics to their fitness programme. That is also why specialised books on weight-lifting or abdominals always include running-on-the-spot or stairway climbing to burn off fat.
Step-Aerobics
Step-aerobics, as the name would suggest, is an aerobic exercise which involves stepping on a raised platform in time with music, and usually in accordance with some instructor. It is also possible to introduce weights into step-aerobics, to make it an even more challenging work out. A one-hour aerobics class once a week would be a great starting point, and if you're out of the way of exercising, you'll find you are exhausted after even such a mild exertion.
Spiritual Aerobics
Yes, aerobics is a spiritual experience marching on the muscled legs of scientific principles. That is the totality of aerobics a scientific miracle gifted to us for our well-being. From the scientific point of view, it triggers off various hormones and chemical reactions that fill us with happiness. From the spiritual point of view, it restores our balance by tuning us into the natural rhythm of the universe. The end result is health, happiness and peace.
Aqua Aerobics
Aqua aerobics, or water aerobics is one of the most effective method of exercising. It consists of exercises that are done standing in chest deep water, usually in a swimming pool. An instructor is also usually a present who demonstrates the various exercises of arms, legs and core body. Aqua Aerobics like other forms of work out exercises help in weight loss, lowering blood sugar levels, and controlling stress. Doing Aqua Aerobics also have however extra benefits that conventional workouts cannot provide.
CONCLUSION
Never do aerobics to the point where you get breathless. You should be able to chat freely while working out. It proves that you are not over-straining yourself. Conversely, if you are trying too hard, your muscles may not be able to cope with the sudden intense stress and will tighten, making it an unpleasant experience for you.
