Affiliate sales?

I have decided to discuss the un-discussed today. ‘What is the un-discussed? You ask’. Well it’s funny to me why people never talk about the basics as often as they should. Here at Insight Empire we have decided to break the mould and up set those greedy gurus!

So I am going to break down the process of being an Affiliate in “LAY MANS TERMS”. That means when you have read this article you will know what ‘Affiliate sales’ are.

First I’ll start with The term ‘Affiliate sales’ its self. Let me start with explaining what an affiliate is – here is a dictionary definition -

‘A subordinate or subsidiary associate; a person who is affiliated with another or with an organization’

Here is the my definition – An Affiliate is some body that gets paid a share of money for recommending somebody else’s product or service.

Now for the interesting word – ‘SALES’ I am sure we are all familiar with this term, you will either hate the term or love it. Well basically if you have had a lot of affiliate sales you will love it, if you’ve only ever been pestered by sales men – I’m sorry for bringing it up!

Here goes ‘sales’ as defined in the dictionary –

‘Income (at invoice values) received for goods and services over some given period of time’.

I wont include my definition I think that one is self explanatory. So why am I writing an article about affiliate sales – well basically i’m writing this affiliate sales article because it always helps me to start from the basics. Also if you are about to start an affiliate sales career you have a great Starting point!
